Why You Should Forget About Internet Marketing & Selling ‘Make Money Online’ Info
Offline Niches Are Dominating The Online World!
Most people looking for a way to make money online try some kind of internet marketing such as affiliate marketing, high ticket affiliate marketing, or information publishing selling courses and eBooks teaching others ‘how to make money online’.
Most people fail miserably.
Why?
Because they…
Have never actually made any money online before.
Don’t actually know what they are doing or teaching.
These people would be better off trying to build an offline business online, and using digital marketing methods to promote it instead of trying to sell online business information.
When I say build an offline business online I mean take an offline subject and use the internet to make money sharing that information to a global audience.
I call these Offline Online Hybrid Businesses.
The thing I want you to remember is that a lot of the people who make money selling ‘how to make money online’ first made their money online with offline subjects.
For example, a guy - whose name I have sadly forgotten, is making good money teaching people how to make money online using Substack actually started with an online newsletter about Christianity.
He was a religious man and so he used the online domain to share his passion.
What Can You Offer People?
If you want to make money online, think about what you can actually offer people.
Is there a specific hobby or subject you love or know a lot about?
Is there a large enough global audience looking for more of that specific hobby or subject?
Could you make money from your hobbies, loves, and passions?
Understand this simple piece of math…
You only need 1,000 hobbyists paying you just $100 to earn $100,000 per year.
That is not a huge number.
If you charge $200 or more you will need just 500 or fewer paying customers.
Attempting to sell ‘make money online’ information and products is actually the worst thing you can do when starting out.
There is plenty of money to be made online, so start with something that you are passionate about and know a lot about.
Even if you don’t make the kind of money you are hoping for, you will learn a lot of valuable skills and knowledge.
To wrap up, here is a collection of people making decent amounts of money each month with communities built around subjects which are not focusing on make money online’
