I love this opinion. I have to say I don't 100% agree with it. But I respect it. I think that emotion is powerful period, whether happiness or sadness or anger or frustration. Often you can channel that emotion into the writing. But that's just my opinion on it. Great take here.
I hear what you are saying, a lot of good literature and music have been written from bad moods. I was meaning more from a marketing point, but you are correct, yes, emotion can be good whether it is good or bad, it depends on the nature of the content.
